Woohoo Post Number Two~

Afternoon blog...

I have been excited to post today. I had to update my profiles, update my layout, jazz up my blog, etc... So much to do and think about. Thank you to my cousin Cheri (http://dragonflystitches.blogspot.com/) who recommended another blog that recommended tips and ideas for sprucing up blogs. It was overwhelming yet helpful. This will certainly be a work in progress.

Speaking of a work in progress... so I wanted to post a picture of a project I am working on for my niece who is a month old. They are crocheted hearts that I will patch together and make a little blanket. So far I have made 4 of each and I will begin to sew them together. Thoughts anyone??? Cute?? Maybe even something to sell on etsy???

I will post a picture when I am done with the blanket. I love crocheting... It is so relaxing to do at the end of the day to unwind.

I spent lots of yesterday and today searching and following a few blogspots. Ideas for marketing my business, speaking of... http://www.jeannasadorra.com/ , and how to get the word out. I joined alot of facebook groups and joined a few mommy blogs. But I will wait to post their link till i am part of their group. Several have an approval pending. But I wait patiently in hopes that the final outcome will be a wonderful experience.

I didn't update much on my etsy account. I need to post some more pictures. But I am looking forward to posting and seeing if all this work pays off.

I would like to also make a little shout out to Bloggers Heaven... on etsy teams. Thank you for having your team where it inspires me to post to my blog. It keeps me on track for the mean time. :)

Blog again soon...

My first blog... oh boy

Well here we go. I am going to start this blogging business. Maybe a little book reviewing (cus I can't stop reading :)). Maybe a little creative outlet... who knows. Who knows if anyone will follow :) But I want to be committed to it. So welcome everyone.

I have just started my new business. It has been a work in progress for several months. And in the last few months... I have been encouraged to get it up and running. I have sold a few items and now have listings on etsy and facebook marketplace. Am i nervous... yes. I have had the taste of selling and I like to make people happy with it. You know the movie "Bed of Roses" with Christian Slater?? There was a scene that was there that has stuck with me for years. The scene where he explains that he loves delivering flowers because of the smiles on the faces of the people that recieves the flowers. Whether it is cuz of sadness, happiness, even the occasions mad turned to happiness. It brought him joy to deliver. That is what I am going to remember when making sales with my business.

So I look forward to making and creating new ideas for my future buyers.  I welcome all comments, ideas, tips, what have you.

Wow who knew this blogging would be easy :)
